It is a private, shareholder-owned, family friendly
outdoor swimming pool & social club.

Club Details



The facilities are run by member elected Board of Directors. Member/Owners contribute towards the upkeep and maintenance of the facility.


Annual Shareholder Meeting is held at the end of September where Board of Directors are elected to serve a 2-year term, and the Annual Budget is approved for the upcoming year.

About Us



Highlands Swim Club has been the location for countless summer memories for the past 60 years. Highlands is a complete swim and social club. The swimming pool is 25 yards long with 5 lanes. Surrounded by shaded tables, chairs, and lounge chairs to sun bathe. In the covered patio area we have several barbecues, tables and benches. Additional amenities include ping pong, volleyball, changing rooms, restrooms, a shower and a small kitchen area for day use.


Located in the Mission District of Fremont, CA. Highlands Swim Club is a shareholder owned, volunteer operated, non profit organization.



Swim Team



Highlands Swim Club is home to the Highlands Sharks Swim Team. The team prides itself on providing a fun atmosphere while teaching the techniques of high level swimming!


The Highlands Sharks are a youth swim team for ages 5 to 18 that competes as part of the East Bay Swim League.


The team holds swim practice within our facility from April to June, occasionally hosting swim meets on some Saturdays during the season. Registration for new and returning team members takes place in February, so check out their website for more details.
